After one more year of independent research&development and numerous experiments, technical experts in our company successfully developed a low-temperature spectrum sludge dryer which adopts the world's leading low-temperature sludge drying technology for processing the sludge from the industrial wastewater, municipal sewage and domestic sewage with a good treatment effect.

The drying system our company developed will applies to dry the sludge cake dewatered by filter press. Sludge cake will be dried by the circle movement of the dry-heat air that is injected into the system. The wet air will be dehumidified in the cooling system. After condensation, the treated air will be injected into drying room after secondary heating.

Finally, the water content of sludge could be reduced from 80% to 20%, and the volume of sludge will reduce by 3/4 as well after the treatment of dried air at 40 °C.

It mainly features a effective reduction on energy consumption, which only consumes 0.33KWH for reducing 1kg water while the traditional process need to consume more than 1 kWh of electricity for drying 1kg. Moreover, this drying system also many advantages:

① small floor space, no need to build extra platforms, saving on infrastructure spending;

② with full intelligent automatic control systems, low operating costs, low maintenance costs, satisfy different requirement of sludge dryness (30% ~ 90%) by adjusting the PLC parameters;

③ low evaporation temperature, distilled water is equivalent to ordinary water;

④ The dried air temperature is only 40 ℃ after heating, avoiding the occurrence of an explosion and stop the odor generation;

⑤ Air circulation system is fully enclosed structure, operating environment almost is without odor and no secondary pollution.

The calorific value of sludge is about 3,000 kcal after low temperature drying system, which can be used as fuel of the power plant or auxiliary fuel.We can also control the water content of sludge to be 50% as agricultural fertilizer and other usage according to user needs.
