I. Product Overview

Standard sludge dryer is used to dry sludge with dry air so that sludge will reduce in weight and size. It is suitable for

industrial plate-and-frame filter press. After cake-shape sludge from filter press drops into the drying groove, it is dried by dry air, and then unloaded from the groove.

The dryer needs minimum maintenance, and drying process is free of smell.

II. Features and Advantages

1.The solid rate of sludge drying is up to 90%

After drying, the size of dried sludge is only 1/4-1/5 of the original size; the water content is below 10%, microbial activity is completely restricted, avoiding mould and

smell; the heat value of sludge with a water content of 10% is 3000kcal/kg.

2.Biological cell wall is destroyed by frequency spectrum technology so as to drain cell water smoothly.

3.Water vapor is condensed at 5℃

4.Drying system safety is improved.

Safety factors that must be controlled include: oxygen content <12%; dust concentration <60g/m3;particle

temperature <110℃。The entire drying process is free of dust (air flow rate<2 m/s); drying temperature is at around

40℃; The whole drying process is finished in a sealed environment, greatly improving drying safety.

5.No-smell maximum running temperature is 40 ⁰C.

Organic compounds of different types in sludge have different volatilization temperatures: for chain alkanes and

aromatic group, 100-300℃; for cycloalkanes, 250-300℃; nitrogen compounds, amines and oximes, 200-300℃; alcohols, ethers, aliphatic ketones, amides, nitriles, over 300℃; aldehydes and anilines,150℃; and lipoids,

150-250℃. The drying temperature is 40℃, effectively avoiding volatilization of foul gas; The whole drying process is

finished in a sealed environment from which smell will not escape, without secondary pollution.

The product with a daily capacity of 1t water only covers 4 square meters of area.

The control panel on which startup/shutdown can be operated includes performance setting, alarm, running,

maintenance and service menus, and emergency button. No person is needed to watch over the equipment

during drying, and it is easy to operate and maintain.
