I. Product Overview
The cartridge filter, in which the wound, cellular type filter element or melt-blown type filter element is housed, is used for process water filtering, alcohol filtering, drug filtering, acid / alkali
filtering and security filtering prior to arrival of liquids at the RO membrane in such industries as drinking water,
domestic water, electronics, printing and dyeing, textile and environmental protection. It is characterized by large
throughput and low cost. Its external surface undergoes polished or matte treatment, while its internal surface
experiences pickling and passivation treatments. And its inlet and outlet and blow-off pipe are provided with the automatic control valve and controller, so it is capable of automatic back washing.

III. Working Principle
Security filtering is realized through formed filter medium. When the raw liquid flows through the filter medium, the
filter residue is made to stay on the filter medium wall, while the filtrate flows out of the filter medium, to achieve the
purpose of filtration.
The formed filter unit includes filter cloth, filter sieve, filter disc, sintered filter tube, wound filter element, melt-blown filter element, microporous filter element and multi-functional filter element. Filtering bore diameter vary in the filter medium. Precise filtering is a kind of filtering that
falls between sand filtering (coarse filtering) and ultra-filtration, in respect of filter fineness, with a filtering bore
diameter ranging between 0.1-120μm. And in terms of overall dimension, the filter unit has several kinds. For
example, the wound filter element (also called cellular filter element) has two kinds: one is made of polypropylene
fiber and polypropylene, with the highest service temperature of 60℃; and the other is composed of absorbent cotton fiber and stainless steel, with the highest service temperature of 120℃.
IV. Product Features
1. Material and Structure
It is with a cylindrical housing made of 304 or 316L stainless steel, and the carbon steel and resin are also optional;
and besides, it is complete with one or more filter elements.

Installation form of filter element: platen type (internationally accepted practice), snap-on type and insert type;
