I. Product Overview
The energetic ion air purifier is also called the active oxygen ion air purifier. In 1947, Einstein, a great scientist, and
his friend Conrad Habicht invented the Bentax positive and negative bipolar ionization technology and patented it.
The technology has its absolute high-end advantage in the field of air purification, and it is widely recognized as an
ion air purification expert in the globe.
The air purification products using the Bentax technology are widely applied in such public places as sewage
treatment plant, refuse treatment plant, pump station, food processing plant, house, office room, hospital, hotel, etc.
II. Technical Principle
The high-efficiency high-energy ion air purification system uses the Bentax positive and negative bipolar ionization
technology. Under the action of the electric field, the ion generator produces lots of a particles, which then collide with
the oxygen molecules in air, to form the positive and negative oxygen ions. The positive oxygen ion has very strong
oxidizing property, and can oxidize and decompose such pollutant factors as methanethiol, ammonia and sulfureted
hydrogen within a quite short time. When being in contact with the VOC molecule, it breaks up the chemical bond of
the organic volatile gas; and after a series of reactions, the small stable and harmless molecules like carbon dioxide
and water are at last generated. Moreover, lots of active oxygen ions can destroy the living environment of bacteria in
air, and thus reduce bacterium concentration indoors. The charged ions can absorb the suspended particles whose
weight is several ten times more than their weight, and then settle down thanks to their dead weight, so as to remove
suspended substances and purify air.
Bentax positive and negative bipolar ionization technology does not employ the traditional point discharge method,
and its working principle is called “flocs”. It is quite like solar radiation in atmosphere, and can create a natural
bioclimate containing lots of active oxygen molecules. The quantity of the positive and negative ions involved in the
Bentax technology is measurable and controllable. These active oxygen molecules present themselves in groups
each consisting of 10 ~ 60 molecules or connected in series, which enables air to release electrons from oxygen
molecules better, and these electrons can interact with pollutants and destroy the latter’s molecular structure to
reduce harm.
As the electrons are produced through the “flocs” type discharge technology that generates no free radicals or much
ozone, the products of UD series using the Bentax technology can provide constant comfort.
III. Technical Advantages
1.The Bentax high-energy ion generator used enjoys a long service life (the ionic tube can be in ceaseless service
for over ten years, and the main frame for over 15 years).
2.The active means is used for depollution, namely, pollution near the pollution source is removed, and its diffusion
inhibited through decomposition accompanied by oxidation, so as to remove pollution at the root.
3.No ozone is produced, and so the respiratory system is not stimulated, the tubes and devices not corroded, and the
instruments and meters not damaged.
4.Ion wind directly covers the pollution source surface and fully reacts with pollutants, reducing air change rate and
so reducing energy consumption.
5.Positive and negative oxygen ions produced by the ion generator do not cause much ozone in their reactions, and
so rarely stimulate the respiratory system
