I. Product Overview

The “continuous sand filter”, which is a hi-tech integrated water treatment filter, is independently developed by our company based on advanced European and

American technologies and is well-known all around the world. It is a substitute for traditional fixed bed filter system

and can be applied to water supply treatment, wastewater treatment, and in-depth/recycling treatment of wastewater.

This product is based on up-flow floating bed filter principle and uses single homogeneous filter material, and is

able to filter and wash sand simultaneously. The ingenious sand lifting and washing structure takes the place of

traditional high-power backwashing system, needing minimum energy consumption. The product is easy to manage,

and the user doesn’t need to maintain or watch over it. The filter is a high-efficient energy-saving water treatment device. It can finish mixing, condensation, filtering and backwashing, continuous filtering and

backwashing processes, and backwashing pump and backwashing water tank are not needed. The filter material of

the filter is zeolite with a grain size of 0.5～1.5 mm and a porosity ratio of 20%-30%. Natural zeolite will not increase

the concentration of harmful metal irons in water, and can greatly improve such functions of the filtering unit as

removing suspended substance, nitrogen (nitrification/denitrification), phosphor, BOD/COD, etc.

II. Technical Features

Continuous contact filter is used for municipal wastewater treatment and industrial water treatment. Whether you

need water recycling or not, U&D series filters can be applied to new process methods to deal with nutrient removal,

industrial water treatment or untreated water, so as to ensure good water quality and to meet the requirement of

environmental standard. It can eliminate suspended substance, nitrogen (nitrification/denitrification functions),

phosphor and BOD/COD, and perform two-stage continuous contact filtering, activated carbon cleaning, treatment

of wastewater containing metals, and pretreatment in other procedures.
